What is this? This is a simulator for flower breeding paths for Animal Crossings: New Horizons: the steps from seeds (or specific flowers) to specific colors of flowers (or specific genotypes). How does this work?Click the plus button to add a step to the path (representing things like planting seeds, or crossing two groups of flowers together, or testing a flower by checking its offspring with another flower). Then click the arrow to simulate the time it takes to reach the first flower of a specific color!

This step is usually used at the start of a breeding path. A certain number of a specific flower genotype are released to the rest of the recipe after 2 days (the time it takes for a newly planted seed to become a bud, which can breed the next day).
This step represents crossing flower(s) from the left side with flower(s) from the right side, using an isolated pair format. Parents never leave this step: once they arrive, they breed with their breeding partner until the end of time.
This step represents testing a flower by checking the color of its offspring with another flower. Flowers from the left side are crossed with flowers from the right side. If any of the specified good offspring appear, the left flower is sent through the rest of the recipe. If any of the specified bad offspring appear, or if too many offspring appear without a good offspring appearing, the left flower is discarded. The right flower remains in place to test more left flowers.
This step represents crossing flower(s) from the left side with flower(s) from the right side until a certain number of offspring of desired color(s) are produced, using an isolated pair format. Once a flower arrives at this step, it is paired with a breeding partner until enough offspring of the right color(s) are produced. Then, it is released to the rest of the recipe.
This step represents cloning flower(s) a certain number of times before continuing. It can be used to ensure that each flower is breeding with a clone of itself (by setting the count to 1). Flowers entering this step will always clone a certain number of times before continuing.
This step represents cloning flower(s) a number of times before starting later steps. Once a certain number of flowers is reached (either from previous steps or from cloning), this node disappears, and previous steps are connected directly to later steps. This can be used to ensure that there are at least a certain number of breeding pairs ready before continuing.
This step represents holding (and blocking) flower(s) until a certain number of them have arrived at the step, upon which, all flowers are released and the step disappears.
This step allows you to specify your own layout for flowers. Create a layout using Aeon's Flower Breeding Simulator, then generate a share link to import the layout here. Flowers will fill the layout in a deterministic order, picking a location adjacent to other flowers when possible, until the maximum number of pairs is reached or the layout is saturated.
Groups allow you to specify a pair maximum across several steps - once the number of pairs across all the steps in the group reaches the maximum, no further inputs are taken, even if the individual steps' maximums have not been reached yet.
